Terms & Conditions & Refund Policy

1. Reservations & Payments

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your stay. By completing a reservation, you agree to the terms and policies outlined below.

Full or partial payment may be charged at the time of booking depending on the selected rate, season, or promotional offer.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations cancelled 14 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date will be charged in full.

For cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival, any deposit paid will not be refunded but will be applied as a credit toward a future stay.

Credits may be subject to availability and must be used within a reasonable timeframe (recommended: 12 months).

No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.

Early departures or unused nights are non-refundable.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

4. Occupancy & Guest Responsibility

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property during their stay and may be charged accordingly.

5. Property Policies

Guests agree to abide by all property rules during their stay, including but not limited to:

Noise levels and respect for other guests

Use of amenities

Compliance with local regulations

Failure to comply may result in termination of the stay without refund.

6. Smoking Policy

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or common areas. A cleaning fee may be applied for violations.

7. Pets Policy

8. Liability

Highland House Cape May is not responsible for:

Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

Injuries or accidents occurring on the property

Guests assume responsibility for their personal safety and belongings.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, or emergencies.

10. Policy Updates

These terms and conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website and booking system constitutes acceptance of the current policies."
